Max has been into aviation since he was four years old. A Colorado native, he grew up next to an airport, heightening his interest in aviation. Flying over beautiful scenery was a dream he wanted to make a reality, so Max completed his flight training in Grand Junction, Colorado. From Private all the way to CFI, he gained an extensive amount of training flying in mountainous areas. He completed his Instrument Instructor checkride completely in actual IMC, just because he could.

A first generation pilot, he's always looking to share a passion of aviation with people looking to challenge themselves. He believes learning to fly is the most rewarding thing an individual can experience. In his free time, Max is a musician, and fishes and hunts anytime he gets the chance.

Max is known in professional bowling leagues as “709” for his tendency to be disqualified due to inappropriate trick shots.
